This role is a leadership commercial position for Mexico (Monterrey or Mexico city) chartered to plan and execute our sales and orders target of the Industrial Solutions.
Call on existing and prospective customers to present and introduce GE products and services.
Be responsible for new accounts, expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory in Mexico.
Have an understanding of customer's business and product requirements and needs is necessary.
Ability to prepare technical configurations and sales proposals. Be responsible for quotations from inquiry until close the deal, with emphasis in getting the better sales conditions for GE. Keep quotations tracking and hit rate updated.
Be responsible for meet and exceed assigned quota, accurate forecasting, regular updating customer relationship management tool (Salesforce.com).
Maintaining and growing relationships with existing named accounts.
Interface with appropriate internal departments (engineering, customer service, marketing, operations, purchasing, etc.) as needed.
Search, define, and present detailed plan with targets to meet the targets according to GE Industrial Solutions strategy.
To liaise with Consultant Engineers, and End Users to proactively pursue projects in Low and Medium Voltage electrical solutions with low and mid complexity.
To liaise with sales support, project manager and specification team to propose the best solution for each opportunity to quote.
Coordinate with sales support, customer service and logistic the receipt and process of purchase orders.
Compilation of reports and forecasts as required. Including project pipelines and Sales Action Plans.
Identify risks and opportunities in the market in time to mitigate any impact for the business.
Awareness of competitors activities and identify relevant threats and opportunities.
Participate in weekly reviews with Sales Leaders to report out the advance on operating plan as well as market information using SFDC.
Manage customer relationship according to the rules of the company and increase customer satisfaction.
Attend either electronic or classroom training courses to be always updated with both technical and commercial aspects of the company products and solutions.
To produce and deliver customized technical presentations/demonstrations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical / commercial role.
Availability and willingness to travel for business purposes (It is a must).
