Role Summary: The Executive Assistant for the Global Head of Channels & Alliances, is a position with critical administrative responsibilities. The Executive Assistant will work closely and primarily with the Global Head of Channels & Alliances and his team.
This role will involve a high degree of interaction at senior levels across the General Electric Company, and with key external business contacts and customers. You will also routinely coordinate administrative activities, handle multiple priorities, work with tight deadlines, & address high priority requests. Maintain calendars, identify conflicts and resolve promptly
Coordinate travel arrangements including: domestic/ international and required Visas
Maintain reconciliation of AMEX expenses as required in accordance with GE guidelines
Provide diverse and advanced administrative duties for executives and provide support to the staff on an as needed basis
Perform a wide variety of administrative activities that require handling of confidential information and business critical assignments in a professional business manner Prepare correspondence, invoices, distribution lists and other documents as requested and maintain files, both electronic and hard copy. Other tasks include conducting research, faxing, photocopying and mailing
Exhibit a highly professional image to contacts both in person and on the phone
Lead &/or prepare presentation materials such as executive internal and external presentations, strategy presentations, HR presentations, promotional material etc.
Make arrangements for on-site and off-site meetings and office events such as conferences & conference calls both internal and external to GE
High school diploma or GED
At least 7 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant/Executive Assistant for C-level leaders
GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA
