Essential Responsibilities: • Executing Wind turbine Type certification activities referring IEC/GL guidelines that includes DECS, MES & Prototype validation activities • Executing Wind turbine site specific project certifications referring IEC/GL guidelines • Executing Wind turbine Technical Regulatory standards fulfillment activities especially for India & APAC regions • Co-ordinate with program managers & Cross functional teams to understand the scope of the activities and to deliver on fulfillment responsibilities • Co-ordinate with third party certification bodies to accomplish various certification activities • Understand the project priorities, timelines and ensure quality of the deliverables • Self-directing environment with complete project ownership • Lead initiatives and guide the team on deliverables • Effectively communicate and document project updates/results for internal and external customers
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or any similar field with 2-5 Years of related and total experience • Good Knowledge in various Wind turbine certification activities like Type certification, DECS, MES, Prototype validation & Site specific certifications • Knowledge on Wind turbine system level/component level loads and its impact on wind turbine certification • Good knowledge in understanding & interpretation of international standards like EN, IEC & UL/CSA • Good knowledge in how to search for relevant technical regulations & standards for a given product/component and analyzing the impact of the same on the design of the said product/component
Desired Characteristics: • Effective written and oral communication skills • Ability to work in a global matrix team environment • Understanding on Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) systems
