Role Summary: The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for all fulfillment activity in North America (US & Canada) to achieve business goals. Lead a team responsible for material receipt, inventory accuracy, customer responsiveness, customer order shipping and delivery execution, cost performance optimization, as well as administrative operations of the warehouses and tooling center.
Essential Responsibilities: Additionally, you will manage suppliers (third party warehouse), international shipment compliance, hazardous material shipments, and hazardous waste disposal.
As the Fulfillment Operations Leader, you will:
Lead and manage warehouse, tooling operations and associated employees, suppliers and contractors
Lead efforts to ensure compliance for international shipments including commercial invoice, HTS codes, ECCN, county of origin with strong focus on Brazil exports
Lead the EHS activities for a safe work environment performing audits, developing processes, and driving a safety and compliance
Drive to 100% inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventory activities
Address issues with root cause, corrective action and implement long term solutions
Coordinate and process all customer shipments with focus on response time and accuracy
Identify and implement productivity opportunities in operations, logistics and warehouse footprint
Ensure transportation cost optimization to meet customer requirements
Understand and meet business requirements in cost, delivery, responsiveness and on-time delivery
Partner cross-functionally to work through issues related to productivity and customer satisfaction
Develop measurements and monitor performance of warehouses in terms of inventory accuracy, shipment accuracy, and delivery performance
Work with supplier recovery team to institute repair / return process within warehouses
Identify and obtain fix for systemic issues for on-going operations
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Deploy Lean methodology to simplify and improve operation
Allocate resources, establish and maintain a teamwork environment
Lead, coach and develop employees to meet/exceed business goals & objectives
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of Warehouse Management, Enterprise Resource Planning system (Oracle preferred) transactional & fulfillment experience (parts, manufacturing, logistics etc.) including a minimum of 3 years of experience managing employees (hourly & salary)
