Role Summary: This role is both of tactical and strategic significance in the development and sustainment of GE’s digital ecosystem.
Essential Responsibilities: This role will serve as a regional leader, strategically driving awareness, education, and engagement with internal and external customers to build our presence in key revenue producing markets. As an investment in this mission, GE Aviation Digital is developing Digital Accelerators, and you will be responsible for the ensuring utilization and success of the center dedicated to DoD and Federal customers. The Centers will team up with customers on a suite of digital services and work to extend and promote GE’s international developer ecosystem. This role is responsible for leading the site development, strategy and daily operations to drive growth and revenue within the region.
Coordinate internally with various cross-functional teams to refine and execute a regionalized portfolio of digitally enabled professional services
Leverage GE Aviation Digital, and GE Digital leadership teams on the development and performance of the digital accelerator
Provide overall leadership for day-to-day site operations and related efforts within the region in support of the broader GE Aviation Digital Digital Foundry strategy
Build and cultivate various external relationships with customers, developers, partners, government, university relations, and the local tech community
Lead a regular operating rhythm, measuring Digital Foundry success and communicate to senior leaders/stakeholders
Leverage learnings from the early stages of the development of the center to help guide and support peers in successful development of the other Digital Foundries
Attract, retain and develop exceptional talent; fostering an environment to build a world-class team
Key metrics will include: revenue fulfillment, customer satisfaction and support, cost management, productivity, cycle time delivery, employee satisfaction
BA or BS in business, marketing, engineering, computer science or related discipline
7+ years’ experience in commercial and/or technical leadership roles
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
Must work out of the Washington DC area
MBA degree (or equivalent)
Experience developing strategy for project execution in digital related industries
Experience working in or with different GE business units and regions
Technically savvy with design thinking mindset
Experience managing and leading through change
Strong executive presence with outstanding communication skills
Ability to interact and influence cross-functionally at all levels both internally and externally
