Role Summary: Leads, consults or oversees multiple architectural engagements. Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge within a domain: technical, solutions, business or information. Leads domain specific architecture.
In this role, you will:
Shape, drive and be held accountable for delivering significant strategic initiatives in the Americas and across broad scope/platform(s) in liaison with key stakeholders
Provide SWAT coverage for key customer facing events, particularly C level discussions
Interface with COE CTOs to ensure alignment to sales process and priorities
Create a “trusted technical advisor” relationship with our customer’s technologists and internal technical teammates
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 15 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across product lines.

Knowledge and experience in the enterprise architecture market, including the enterprise data warehouse and Hadoop solution focuses.
Expert in defining points of view regarding comparative effectiveness of competitors’ solutions and able to drive messaging to support GE superiority.
Demonstrates expertise with cross-business unit solutions (GE Store). Ability to present an overview on all business unit solution areas, based on real experience in working with teams across the GE domains.
Recognizes opportunities to align emerging tech with changing business climates; Envisions future trends and design new solution sets to capitalize on opportunities.
Provides leadership, technology guidance and mentors others throughout their domain. Define the skills, competencies in the skills and talents for architecture team members.
Facilitates dialogues that produce new perspectives and trigger recommendations for substantial innovative / enhancements, and analysis of consequences.
