Essential Responsibilities: • Project: roll out the Stat@Source program on GE strategic ERP. Validate and maintain the update to date landscape. • Accounting: use of the Statutory Ledgers in the Strategic ERP’s being deployed, in line with the ES requirements and in close coordination with the GE Businesses. This also includes support for the roll out of the Tax Provisioning Tool TPC on the dual ledger structure. • Consolidation: use of STAT HFM for those company codes that went live on Stat@Source, supporting the STAT accounts preparation, STAT Consolidation and S2G Walk. • Reconciliation: use of STAT ARM for those company codes that went live on Stat@Source, support the STAT A/C rec process incl. quality control. • Country Financial Statement: Thomson Reuters Accounts Production (TR AP): use of TR AP in those countries where the tool is being deployed, supporting the STAT Financial Statements Production (“Last Mile Tool”). • Organizational: Right tasks executed by the right teams. ie Ensuring appropriate tasks in the accounting cycle are executed by the accounting team and appropriate tasks in the filing cycle are executed by the stat teams. • Ad hoc: Support and lead the roll out of other STAT projects that can improve the efficiency and quality of GE statutory process
Work Experience • 6+ years operational accounting experience, preferably in a dual ledger environment • Experience preparing financial statements in either Big 4 or Business environment • Good understanding of Financial Systems and Strong Project Management Experience
