Role Summary: Demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals / programs / processes for an area or business segment. Has the experience or expertise to solve problems. Ability to develop and execute objectives for self and others. Define polymer-matrix composite (PMC) materials behavior programs and work with various engine programs and materials application engineers to define and execute materials behavior evaluation programs and analyze the resulting data and create design curves.
In addition you will :
Contribute independently in projects
Take innovative approaches to problem solving
Identify projects and solutions that are tied to program goals
With limited direction from Manager, manage small projects to completion
Responsible for work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives
Responsible for mastering statistics to drive data-driven decisions
Prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in an Engineering role)
A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Engineering role
A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Engineering role
Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems
Understanding of composites construction and behavior
Knowledge of materials evaluation testing and mechanics of materials
Solid oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
