Role Summary: As a member of a World-Class Team, the Manufacturing Mechanical Weld Operator, you will use production drawings to properly accumulate parts for aluminum bar-work weld. In addition, you will perform all welding on aluminum bar-work for the network product line. This job also requires the welder to weld the bar-work to the interior of the network units.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Mechanical Weld Operator-Aluminum Bar, you will:
Read blueprints and accumulate bar-work
Weld aluminum bar-work assemblies
Weld aluminum bar-work kit to interior of the network unit
Ability and willingness to operate a forklift
Ability and willingness to wear PAPR welding hood
Other duties as assigned
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of 1 year of experience with TIG and MIG welding
Minimum of 1 year of hand fitting and assembly experience
Working knowledge of routine inspection tools
Ability to read and interpret complex assembly drawings
Team player with great team attitude
Ability to perform the job safely and in accordance to all EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) regulations and policies
