Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Sales & Operations (S&OP) Planning Lead to support Pressure Pumping at our facility in Tomball, TX. Essential Responsibilities: 
  • Developing the rolling demand plan for all product line product categories.
  • Be the liaison between Supply Chain, Product Line, Technology, Finance, and the geo markets.
  • Work with PLM for new product launches, and phase-out of discontinued items.
  • Perform monthly item-level reviews and create recommendations for leadership review.
  • Reviews historical sales trends and financial projections to provide accurate product forecasts to operations.
  • Provides annualized forecasted projections for contracts and budgeting.
  • Works with field management to support sales needs.
  • Participates in the development, maintenance and improvement of statistical forecasting methods, tools, processes and procedures.
  • Create monthly top focus country reviews and organize meetings to assess
  • Produce ad hoc reports and data analysis to support the Supply Chain group
  • Handles special projects, as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's Degree (Business or Supply Chain or Finance)
  • 3+ years relevant experience 
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience especially with Excel
  • Analytical Skills
  • Data Analysis and presentation of findings
  • Forecasting Analysis
  • Reporting Skills
  • SAP familiarity
  • Identify Trends and analysis
  • Knowledge of Cost of Sales Data
  • Will process S&OP Monthly Presentation
  • Ability to analyze MRP data
  • Understanding of the role for demand planning in the business
  • Detailed understanding of how statistical forecasts and demand plans are generated and managed
  • Business/product knowledge: understanding of how key events affect product demand; product history and trends
  • Business/product knowledge: understanding of sales cycles and characteristics (and demand planning’s place in the sales cycle)
  • Detailed understanding of the relationship between the demand plan, the sales budget and corporate budget
Desired Characteristics:
  • Cross functional communication skills
  • Ability to work in a global environment  
  • Advance data analysis experience preferred – especially with Excel
Other Details:
  • Some travel required 5%
