Role Summary:
The Lead Team Coach serves as both the Supervisor for the assigned product line(s) and the Process Engineer (technical resources) for the line(s). Perform daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line(s). Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developed and strong foundation of functions skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition you will :


  • Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees, as well as engineer for the line(s)
  • Manages the hourly employee population for the assigned production line(s)
  • Develops new solutions under the guidance and / or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
  • Works together with business leadership at SPB and EB level
  • Ability to assess capacity and process capability to specify organizational needs to meet customer delivery and turnaround time requirements
  • Works on cross functional teams
  • Alternatively: Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
  • Must have flexibility in schedule to work a 3rd shift position


  • Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:


  • Ability and willingness to work 3rd shift position
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Production Supervision or related area

    GE Aviation Engine Services - McAllen, L.P. is a repair facility that primarily repairs LPT Blades and LPT Vanes for jet aircraft engines. The facility, located within the Free Trade Zone in McAllen, Texas, is approximately 100,000 square feet and is located ten miles from the Mexican border and seventy miles from South Padre Island, Texas. The area's sub-tropical weather makes for warm summers and mild winters in which hunting and fishing, and many other sports such as
    golf, and rollerblading are year-round activities. McAllen, known as the Square Dance capital offers in-town bus service, hike and bike trails, many restaurants & a new Convention Center which along with Dodge Arena brings many musical acts and other events to the city.
