Role Summary: This role is part of our regional Onshore Renewable Energy business, which covers Australia and New Zealand. The primary function of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support for GE at Wind Farms located NSW. The Site Administrator will report directly to the Construction Site Manager. The Site Administrator is responsible for supporting the GE team which will include EHS, Installation and commissioning teams.
Essential Responsibilities: • Raising requisitions and purchase orders including offline (IBS) purchase orders • Goods receiving, invoice processing • General accounts and invoice enquiries • Weekly time sheet processing for staff and contractors • Set up and maintain folder structure and document templates • Stock and consumable control • Support vendor onboarding and management • General office administration tasks, recording meeting minutes, general data entry, notice board updates etc. • Assist with weekly and monthly reporting requirements and correspondence • Ability to interact with all levels of staff • Assist in financial reporting • Other tasks as may be required by the Site Manager for GE/project purposes POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications/Requirements: • Proven administrative experience working in a high paced construction environment. • Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) as well as internet and web applications. • Experience with online Purchase Order and Invoicing systems in a Shared Services environment is highly desirable. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff (Senior Leaders, Team Leaders and Employees). • Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to implement innovative solutions. • Strong attention to detail. • A self-starter able to work on own initiative and well in a team environment. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities. • Ongoing commitment to complying with corporate compliance requirements. • Willing and able to work in a high paced environment. • Flexible with a can-do attitude. • Hold the appropriate entitlement to work in Australia at date of application (Permanent Resident of Australia or an Australian Citizen or New Zealand Citizen).
Desired Characteristics: • An administrative qualification or certificate will be highly regarded however no formal qualifications are necessary • Experience in the wind farm industry.
