Offers the opportunity as an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team in Singapore.
Generates and implements the district business plan and strategy in cooperation with sales management
Responsible for growing sales
Responsible for the district budget
Manages and develops regional personnel and assets
Responsible for all HSE, Legal, financial and business compliance
Coordinates business development activities with the Sales, Operations and other divisions
Establishes and implements customer specific and product specific best practices
Responsible for assisting in price management of products and producing bids/tenders for products
Drives identification and development of new products
Job levels are determined by geography, revenue, job proficiency or experience, product/service system complexity or some combination of these factors
Handles special projects, as assigned
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemist, Earth Science, or related science or equivalent industry experience in lieu of degree
10+ years’ experience with BS Degree, 8+ years’ experience with MS degree in Sales and Operations in Downstream Chemicals
Thorough understanding of product line(s)/service(s) in an operational area or district
Thorough understanding of customer requirements and market conditions
In depth knowledge of company's business practices including strategic planning, budgeting and staffing
