Role Summary:
The Sourcing Manager f/m, GE Inspection Technologies (GEIT) will own the sourcing vision, strategy and deliverables for the global GEIT business. The role can be based in one of the global GEIT locations Skaneateles/NY, Billerica/MA, Hurth, Ahrensburg or Wunstorf, Germany, Nove Mesto / Slovakia.

Essential Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities are:
Report functionally to the Digital Solutions (DS) Sourcing Leader, with strong operational alignment to the General Manager for Global Supply Chain
Drive Sourcing activities for the (6) core Inspection Technologies product lines, to support and meet business and functional objectives
Establish sourcing strategies for direct and indirect spend in line with DS and Global Operations strategies to meet or exceed op plan deflation targets
Develop a strong relationship with Manufacturing, Engineering and Product Line teams to partner in driving key sourcing and business objectives around cost, cash, supplier quality, NPI and fulfillment
Lead and manage Supplier Quality team to drive defect reduction, COQ recovery, quality initiatives and overall supplier quality performance
Ensure compliance with BakerHughes GE (BHGE) sourcing policies, procedures and export control regulations
Reduce risks in supply chain by mitigating sole source suppliers
Drive emerging market growth strategy
Collaborate with Materials team to drive standardization and continuous improvement of purchasing processes and cycle time reduction through consignment, VMI and Kanban strategies
Provide benchmarking and industry intel support in make vs. buy strategies and decisions
Drive business cash initiatives supporting inventory and AP; lead implementation of e-invoicing strategies



Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s
degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent education
• Significant sourcing experience
• Travel
up to 20% of the time, as required

Prior site, P&L and/or business sourcing experience
GE program graduate (i.e. OMLP, FMP)
Ability to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
Ability to coordinate multiple priorities at one time
Knowledge of shop operations, production control, manufacturing or materials functions
