Role Summary: This position is responsible for facilitating the successful project implementation and servicing of GE Collision Avoidance System (CAS) technology on light and heavy mining vehicles in various site locations nationally and globally.
Essential Responsibilities: • Onsite installation and commissioning of CAS systems. • Act as the site representative / face-to-the-Customer on behalf of GE. • Site management for project installations, including overseeing sub-contractor resources. • Drive EHS compliance and continual improvement of safe work practices. • Maintain accurate and timely project / service delivery records. • Prepare site specific documentation for the project. • Training of personnel on the installation and operations of the CAS system. • On-demand customer service and support, including troubleshooting and planned maintenance. • Conducting installation quality audits. • Must be willing to travel on short notice domestically and internationally.
• Trade - Auto Electrical (mandatory) • Cert IV - Training & Assessment (desirable) • Working at Heights (desirable)
• Heavy Vehicle - Mining Auto Electrical Experience (mandatory). •Mining Industry Site Experience (mandatory). • Site Supervision Experience – Trades (desirable). • Site Safety Supervisor (Mining S1, S2, S3) (desirable). • Networking systems (LAN / WAN) basics (desirable). • Intermediate ability with Microsoft Office (mandatory). • Gathering customer inputs and translating to solution requirements. • Managing changing work priorities in a dynamic customer site workplace.
