Role Summary: We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join the Dalia Plant. As the Procurement Specialist you will be a member of the sourcing team responsible for executing procurement tasks, working in close cooperation with the Plant Management team, Finance representatives and other parties. .
Essential Responsibilities: • Search, survey and select new vendors of equipment, services and materials • Prepare and follow-up on request for quotations, ensuring all necessary technical, quality, transport and commercial documentation are complete. • Obtain quotes, specifications and product availability from suppliers and negotiate price and terms & conditions of the purchase orders, standard equipment or services. • Prepare and issue purchase orders and order modifications, according to the applicable process, making sure all data is recorded properly in the ERP-System. • Follow-up on material deliveries and services • Ensure all work procedures are compliant with GE procedures and integrity policies • Perform general administration work such as copying, issuing, filing and archiving correspondences, collecting approval signatures, etc… • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing department to enable an efficient workflow of incoming and outgoing documents
Qualifications/Requirements: • BA Degree preferably with a Commercial or Economical background • 3-5 years’ experience in a procurement or supply chain role, in an International company • Excellent English and Hebrew, both written and verbal • Experience working with an ERP-System (preferably SAP B1) • Excellent Knowledge in Microsoft office
