Role Summary: Perform essential duties and responsibility in central-service area, which include performing X-ray NDT (non-destructive testing) on products under approved / active certification.
In addition you will :
Comply with established / documented policies, procedure, and work instructions
Evaluate product for weld, braze and / or casting for discontinuities exceeding requirements specified
Work with X-Ray generating equipment under strict EH&S requirements
Perform and records results regarding set-up, statistical data, operation, calibration, Process Control Checks, and preventive maintenance programs
Develop techniques for approval (X-ray), interpret, evaluate and report evaluation results
Maintain recurrent certification in accordance with established instructions and systems / applications, including purchase of corrective eyewear and PPE
Participate in activities supporting Safety / Lean / Quality initiatives
Work to prioritized schedules
Train and work at multiple-sites to support multi-skilling / cross-training and operations support
Understanding of blueprints (location coordination of print points, understand and apply print notes referenced in documented work instructions, etc.)
Produce error free work results
Meet production goals
Work with minimal coaching in a team environment
Submit to, pass, and maintain passing test results required by FAA D&A program
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
