Role Summary: Responsible for managing the work deliverables of the platform/product/solution, less complex GE business, GE sub-business, large P&L, critical long cycle product, or ownership of large and/or complex functional product(s) within the platform.

Proven track record of strong people management within at least one discipline and/or expertise within the discipline.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills; places high emphasis on strategy & influence
A technical leader within the function and also responsible for developing/coaching his/her employees within the function.
Experienced manager of other people managers and senior individual contributors.
Reports can be as high as the SPB2 band level
Ability to influence from both a strategic and technical standpoint across the function and business. - implied. Ability to influence at the peer level is key.
Leaders also need to be able to influence beyond the scope of their immediate business segment, potentially across modalities and CoEs.
Starts assuming financial responsibility and accountability.
Provides coaching, feedback, developmental opportunities, etc. to direct/indirect reports within broader team.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 15 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across product lines.

Drive meaningful and challenging enterprise change through Directory programs
Experience with Directory Service frameworks and related technologies and protocols including but not limited to; Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, LDAP, SCIM, and Virtual Directory.
Familiarity and experience with continuous-availability and widely-deployed systems.
Experience with opensource authentication protocols and related technology including OpenID Connect, oAuth2.0, and SAML
Drive the consolidation and streamlines the design/automation of standard operating processes in a multi-forest/multi-domain/multi-platform infrastructure while establishing best practices and working with Product Management to develop roadmaps
Identify opportunities to maximize investments and/or improve service offerings.
Drive Directory sync/integration with Cloud based services including AWS, Office365 and G-Suite tools.
