Essential Responsibilities: The Peebles Engineering Test Technician (SA )will assists in engine dis-assembly, repair, prep for test and de-prep following approved instructions and practices. Candidates should have willingness to work weekends. Positions available and to be filled will be on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri), 3rd shift (Mon-Fri), or 4x10 shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for 10 hour shifts).
In addition you will :
Assist with installing engines in the test stand and setup for test, including special or slave systems
Assist with the operation of the current family of engines, following approved work requests and ensuring the engine is operated within published limits
Maintain good communications with the assembly / test team
Associate’s Degree in Technical Discipline from an accredited school or institution (Or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing or equivalent quality training)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :
Positions available and to be filled will be on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri), 3rd shift (Mon-Fri), or 4x10 shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for 10 hour shifts)
Ability and willingness to work an off shift position
Demonstrated Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
