Role Summary: The Program Assistant will be part of a global External Innovation team which supports the Chief Technology Officer’s (CTO) organization within GE Healthcare Life Sciences. The individual will work closely with the Head of Licensing, Head of Medical Affairs and Head of Strategy, Search & Evaluation and will provide program assistance, enabling tactical steps to accelerate external innovation for GE.
Overall responsibility for supporting core program team.
Uses database tools to provide program tracking and ensure program coordination
Creates summary reports and dashboards for executives.
Supports financial tracking of team to meet budget.
Adept at database searching.
Can work with internal team while coordinating with external contractors.
Helps identify enabling technologies for the business.
Provides benchmarking from what GE has done in the past to enable future revenue.
Supports capacity planning for global medical affairs.
Understands and openly supports excellence for all functions within the program.
Bachelors Degree in a scientific discipline or other related field and 3-5 years relevant program or project leadership experience within manufacturing, development, technical industry, service or research environment or a High School Diploma and 6+ years relevant work experience.
Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional project teams and an ability to drive project design plans to completion satisfying quality, performance, schedule and budget.
Demonstrated understanding of cross-functional needs and interdependencies to successfully support program objectives.
Demonstrated facilitation and negotiation skills in driving closure on product/program-related decisions/issues.
Strategic planner and thinker with ability to pay attention to detail
Strong written and oral communication skills
Self-starter, results-oriented, and able to multi-task
Organized with demonstrated problem-solving ability
