Role Summary: The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the stocking and job pulling functions to ensure conformance to specifications and continuous production consistent with established standards.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Warehouse Associate, you will:
Compare information on requisitions, invoices, and shipping notices to materials received or issued to verify accuracy
Enter data from source documents into Oracle
Comply and maintain inventory of material received, stocked, or issued
Store purchased or manufactured parts in the stock room and issue parts per appropriate documentation
Inspect, accept, or reject materials received from vendors and assists in loading and unloading trucks / pallets
Operate forklift / hoist to load equipment
Perform routine cycle counts
Be responsible to requisition materials to fill orders
Determine methods of storage, considering temperature, humidity, height & weight limits, turnover, floor loading capabilities, and space
Move materials between departments and machines
Maintain inventory and stock records
High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
Minimum 2 years of warehouse / inventory experience
Work 2nd Shift
Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty
Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Be subjected to the following: extreme heat that could exceed 500 degrees, enclosed areas, heights, and awkward positions, exposure to eye injuries, noise, dust, burns, & arc flashes, exposure to high noise levels for long periods of time, as required
Stand for long periods of time, as required
Work inside and outside, as required
Interpret drawings, specifications, weld procedures and shop orders
Perform set-up, fit-up, layout and weld for complex welded assemblies
