Role Summary:
Collection activities to ensure thorough control for customer portfolio assigned.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Proactively contact customers for prompt collection or resolution of aged receivables, by regularly coding, collecting & analyzing customer data
  • Resolve customer inquiries promptly & accurately, troubleshooting billing customers, disputes and claims by understanding customer market & needs
  • Understand client needs and provide proactive solutions, working closely with different client’s departments
  • Support field collectors in all tasks that cannot be performed remotely, providing the field collector all the information needed to perform a successful visit
  • Work with colleagues to ensure all Cash Application tasks are performed timely and accurately
  • Coordinate Payment Plan proposals and report on demand requests coming from Risk department
  • There may be an opportunity to take part in special projects, for those interested in personal / professional development opportunities
  • Accomplish all responsibilities in line with GE's compliance and integrity requirements
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures updated and re-validated

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • University degree in Business or Master in progress
    • Availability to work 25 hours a week
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Excellent organization and computer skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Fluent in English and Spanish
    • EU Work Permit

    Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.
