Role Summary:
As a member of the Finance IT - ERP Deployment team, the candidate will partner closely with business subject-matter experts and end users to ensure that standard and effective SCM processes are deployed through ERP implementation activity. The successful candidate will have in-depth expertise in Supply Chain processes and systems, ERP processes and tools and excellent business skills, especially in the areas of functional process excellence.

Essential Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced individual with in-depth functional expertise in Supply Management processes and systems to join our ERP Deployment team working on a highly visible multi-generation Oracle Cloud ERP implementation program in support of multiple GE businesses.
In this role they will partner with both the business and our technical and functional project teams to gather business requirements, design and implement solutions, drive standardization, prepare for testing and adhere/contribute towards the blueprint for future business implementations.
You will be accountable for delivery excellence of assigned projects, with duties including process mapping for both ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ process maps, completion of requirements gathering documentation, identifying and solving for design gaps, completion of testing scripts, guidance around data conversion validation approaches and supporting end users through key user testing phases.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Participation in the planning for the requirements & ‘as is’ process gathering. Ensure all relevant processes are captured for planning and preparation purposes.
  • Review process related requirements for all in-scope countries/businesses and identify opportunities for process standardisation / simplification / enhanced productivity
  • Ensure that the global blueprint is adhered too and assist to solve any design gaps identified through the requirements/design work.
  • Lead the process component of the CRP & UAT events.
  • Document all agreed standard processes and maintain central document repository, assisting Functional consultants to complete required BP080 process documentation. Support business testers with end to end testing, specifically around the testing of new wing to wing processes.
  • Assist business testers with identification of process issues and own the issue through to solution delivery / recommendation.
  • Provide assistance to end users to work through any process related issues.
  • Support end users and project team with data conversion activities.
  • Participate in regular project status reviews providing inputs/updates where necessary
  • Serve as the project expert for the design of assigned supply chain modules and application, including ERP modules and integrated applications, both on-prem and cloud applications.
  • Work closely with the SCM Global Process Leader to ensure adherence to blueprint/standards and to highlight and resolve any design gaps.
  • Share challenges and best practices with SCM Process Leads working on other deployments.
  • Assist with support transition and post implementation stabilization period.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Sciences, MIS, Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience with financial systems and processes; specifically Supply Chain in a light-manufacturing/finished goods context
  • Demonstrated experience with large Enterprise Resource Planning Application (ERP) implementations and Inventory/Order Management/Manufacturing transaction processing and master data management globally
  • Strong global implementation experience using Oracle EBS Release 12 Financials and Supply Chain/Manufacturing applications
  • Expertise in leading process re-engineering/standardization experience across multiple site and multiple disciplines

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be willing to work out of an office in Budapest, Hungary
  • Global travel required

  • Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources; has experience working with others on a global basis; applies knowledge to coach and mentor others
  • Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships; creates processes with customer viewpoint; partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
