Role Summary:
Responsible for managing the work deliverables of the platform/product/solution.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manages 1-2 agile teams (max approx. 12 directs); dotted line help as well.
  • This could be a first time manager (more senior as an IC) or a people manager with experience.
  • Leader within his/her own product. This role is distinguished by the size of product line and complexity of influence and impact required to perform the role.
  • Direct reports consist of individual contributors and contractors; does not manage people managers.
  • Leadership is demonstrated through team leadership and knowledge in a specific technical area.
  • Begins to demonstrate deeper expertise in engineering methodologies/tools and drive best practices.
  • Demonstrates an ability to communicate the technical knowledge through project management and contributions to product strategy.
  • Provides coaching, feedback, developmental opportunities, etc. to directs.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience

    Desired Characteristics:
    • Experience with opensource authentication protocols and related technologies including OpenID Connect, oAuth2.0, Multi-Factor Auth, Single Sign-On, CyberArk and SAML
    • Strong communicator with a very collaborative work-style
    • Experience with Directory Service frameworks and related technologies and protocols including but not limited to; Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, LDAP, SCIM, and Virtual Directory.
    • Drive application integration with Cloud based services including AWS, Office365 and G-Suite tools.
    • Familiarity and experience with continuous-availability and widely-deployed systems.
    • Maintains current knowledge of IT development methodology, architecture, and related standards, as it pertains to Auth, and ensures usage of new standards by team members.
    • Partners with Security and Application areas to ensure solutions not only comply with policies and procedures, but are readily reportable
