Role Summary: In Talent Acquisition at GE Digital, we own each other’s success, think globally, align regionally and functionally, and by segment to ensure a customer-oriented experience for our stakeholders. Our new Executive Recruiter will partner closely with the Head of Executive Search and be accountable for attracting executive-level digital talent into GE Digital and across the GE business units.
This position will interface and provide recruiting support and consultation to hiring groups as a full life cycle Executive Recruiter. This position will drive specialized recruitment programs to address unique talent needs, primarily in the engineering and technical leadership areas, broaden GE’s professional network and brand, and enhance pipeline development.
In this highly visible role, you will:
Partner with GE business and HR leadership and manage assignments to recruit top executive talent across the organization, with a focus on technical (e.g. engineering, product, digital technology/information technology) executives
Attract a diverse group of high-quality passive candidates while delivering an exceptional recruiting experience for both clients and candidates.
Work with clients and key stakeholders to define a recruiting strategy based on the specific opportunity and business needs, clearly communicate the process, and set and manage client and candidate expectations.
Drive a world class, consistent, end-to-end candidate experience from job posting through to onboarding and employment.
Focus on quality of hire - drive use of capability assessments and talent mapping exercises to hire the best talent through GE Digital’s Integrated Talent Management (ITM) system.
Create and implement diversity strategies to attract a diverse workforce to the company.
Develop passive candidate and succession planning pipelines through strategic sourcing networking, referrals, events/conferences and strategic internet research; develop material that will be used for People Reviews.
Develop trusted and influential relationships with client groups, ensuring that executive recruitment, including and a positive candidate experience and a “talent first” approach is integrated into business principles.
Establish ongoing relationships with hiring managers to understand their continuing business and recruitment needs.
Develop trusted relationships with potential candidates and market leaders, promoting the GE brand and cultivating a network of experienced professionals.
Influence client groups by using market data insights to support business growth and decision making.
Collaborate with the broader Corporate Global Talent Acquisition organization and the Executive Search Council to share recruiting concepts, experiences and best practices.
Collaborate with your manager and Executive Search team members to continue to build the Digital Executive Search brand across the GE organization.
Effectively build talent communities and drive brand awareness through Social Media.
Coach and mentor less experienced recruiters and share knowledge/best practices.
Drive operational excellence and compliance, set high recruitment standards.
Operate with the highest level of integrity and foster a culture of collaboration, learning and fun.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
A minimum of 8 years of overall recruiting experience, ideally both in-house and at an executive search firm.
A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience in the technology sector.
A minimum 2 years recruiting executive-level technical leadership (e.g. VP Engineering, CTO, CIO, VP Product, etc.) for technology/software and/or industrial organizations.

Expertise in full life cycle recruiting to include job brief (job launch), position profiles, target list creation, sourcing/marketing plan development, candidate outreach and development, slate presentation, offer delivery, negotiation and close
Obsessed with delivering a high-touch client and candidate experience
Crafts and executes a clear recruiting process that is flexible and can adjust to business, product and market fluctuations.
Has built and maintains a broad network of professional relationships
Experience recruiting for global, complex matrix organizations in a corporate or search firm environment, as well as for startup environments.
Proven experience executing attract/recruit strategies that support business priorities and objectives
Quickly engenders trust and inspires confidence; can influence at the CxO levels of an organization.
Experience using a candidate CRM tool and leveraging the tool to source candidates as well as manage relationships
Experience conducting competitor and market research to drive business recommendations
Experience identifying networking leads for passive talent using multiple internet sources such as niche sites, organizations, associations, education, blogs, user groups, specific industry news, etc.
Experience developing sourcing plans to identify diverse pools of talent
Effective written and verbal communications and can express thoughts in a structured and succinct manner with an ability to adapt communication message and style to audience
