Role Summary: GE Lighting’s Consumer Sales Organization has a dynamic, highly visible role as a National Account Manager (NAM) to lead our sales interest. The NAM will take ownership for all aspects of the consumer the business. The NAM is tasked with developing and implementing a long-term growth and profitability strategy while consistently delivering short and medium-term results.
Key Responsibilities Include :
Create, sell and execute account growth and profitability strategy
Develop enviable working relationships with consumer Merchandising teams
Build internal and external consensus to deliver growth and margin targets
Facilitate dialog between the consumer business and GE marketing teams to execute national marketing initiatives
Effect lead marketing plans to deliver prominent and impactful GE Lighting message in the marketplace
Work cross-functionally to ensure the GE Lighting plan-o-grams (POG) is optimized for local markets, technology shifts and industry changes and profit
Generate plans to gain incremental promotion placements
Precisely forecast revenue on a quarterly, half and annual basis
Gain comprehensive understanding of product line, competitive environment and overall industry dynamics to effect positive growth for the consumer business and GE Lighting
BA / BS in Marketing, Management, Finance or Business Administration from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 7 years of experience in consumer product goods company (working in a highly visible, business to business selling role)
