Role Summary:
You will be working on multiple projects as a project leader or internal consultant. You will work on projects for components of the domain.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role you will:

  • Provides professional architecture services in design, build, modification of software. Makes independent contributions to projects based on functional experience.
  • Works independently on moderately complex projects/problems.
  • Contributes effectively to the collective team effort (e.g. offers ideas, solutions, and resources).
  • Demonstrates continual success in performing more complex projects that require both seasoned technical skills and judgment.
  • Participates in domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals.
  • Assists in the analysis, design, and development of a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
  • Gathers and analyzes data and develops architectural requirements at project level, aligning architectural requirements with software development strategy.
  • Supports and participates in developing policies, standards, guidelines and procedures. Participates in the EA business-wide and domain’s architecture Governance process.
  • Researches and evaluates emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities, providing recommendations based on business relevance, appropriate timing and deployment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of business' structure (P&Ls) and the interplay of functions to support business goals; demonstrate knowledge of the business products, key processes, suppliers, customers and market/competitors.
  • Collaborates with project management on reporting project status, issues, risks and benefits.
  • Meets with project leaders and software development Leaders to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirements.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in salesForce.com and ServiceMax OR Master’s degree with 6 years of experience OR PhD with 3 years of experience

    Eligibility Requirements: (Country Specific)

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10%
  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in Waukesha, Wisconsin or Chicago, Illinois

  • Manages and possesses working industry knowledge and skillset (of self or others) in assigned vertical.
  • Significant expertise in developing and selling SW/HW solutions. Including creating and executing propositions and a track record of success.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction to both technical and non-technical audiences alike across all organizational levels.
  • Technical acumen to interface with technologists, understand complex concepts and translate in a way that businesses or industry can understand.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and creative skills, ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on market and customer trends – go beyond the status quo.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, strategic agility, manage diversity and drive for results.

    Technical Expertise:

  • Hands-On configuration of Service processes on force.com using ServiceCloud and ServiceMax
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, code development, testing, deployment and support.
  • Proactively explore new technologies to improve the development process and optimize solutions delivery to business
  • Architect, design, prototype, and engineer Salesforce.com/ServiceMax capabilities and integrations

  • Understand key cross-functional concepts that impact the organization; is aware of business priorities and organizational dynamics.
  • Solve advanced/complex business process workflows by Engineering and building customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
  • Create clear and concise functional and technical specifications, diagrams, and other documentation

  • Coaches and mentors team members.
  • Familiar with concepts of costing hardware and software components. Works to assure work is on-time and within budget.
  • Delivers tasks on-time with alignment to architectural goals. Can identify and raise issues, risks and benefits.
  • Participates in change initiatives by implementing new directions and providing appropriate information and feedback.
