Role Summary:
Organization:
Reporting into the Global Process Leader, this role will lead global cross-functional initiatives to improve billing quality resulting in lower disputes and improved customer satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities:

    This role will successfully adopt the Billing Enterprise Standard across GE and liaise with key functional stakeholders; Commercial/Sales Operations, Services, Finance, Digital IT, and WCS to execute billing improvement projects and ensure collaboration throughout the process.

  • Act as project leader for strategic billing initiatives; building and executing project plans in alignment to the billing Enterprise Standards and ensuring timely delivery of projects
  • Identify and facilitate process improvements including technology enhancements in customer/account setup, order setup, and customer master data to improve billing data quality for service, project and flow invoicing
  • Establish critical Xs including actionable metrics/KPIs to gauge progress, reinforce behaviour, and establish monitoring controls
  • Manage business/functional billing requirements and translate it to effective ERP design. Partner with Digital IT to take existing ERP capabilities as potential solutions to solve for critical business issues.
  • Provide analytical support to enable the identification and prioritization of process improvement opportunities
  • Positively and effectively influence results in a matrix organization at all levels. Build alliances, quickly find common grounds and identify potential solutions, and build consensus for outcomes;
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholders throughout project lifecycles to balance perspectives while gaining support for recommended solutions;
  • Manage horizontal partnerships to ensure full alignment of initiatives and projects
  • Support projects to continuously develop and improve our regional team’s billing process capabilities
  • Maintain a robust operating rhythm with projects and billing teams to ensure strong stakeholder communication


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • College degree from an accredited university or high school diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience in lieu of degree;
  • Outstanding project/program management skills with demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex, high impact multi discipline projects across multiple geographies
  • Experience across a variety of business functions. Ideally having worked in at least two of the following: Commercial or Sales Operations, IT, and Logistics
  • Specific Order to Cash process experience with associated commercial operations expertise
  • Change management training and/or proven experience of managing complex changes
  • Outstanding interpersonal / relationship management skills
  • Organizationally astute – ability to recognize and navigate through organizational matrices
  • Comprehensive knowledge of process improvement tools and techniques, including Lean, Six Sigma, Fastworks
  • Clear thinker, strong process, and process simplification mindset
  • Outstanding facilitation and presentation skills, able to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding analytical skills – must be highly proficient in excel and power-point
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be willing to travel up to 30% (international and domestic)
  • Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary


Desired Characteristics:

  • Quality/Six Sigma accreditation and/or other formal project management training
  • MBA
  • Operational / line management experience in shared services operations
  • Knowledge of Europe and Asia regional O2C controls and regulations
  • Customer Contact or other query resolution experience
  • CAS / FMP background a plus
