Role Summary:
The Lead Human Resources Manager will provide strategic and operational employee relations leadership to a 260 person shop that manufactures aviation components. Partnering with the site leadership team, this role will be responsible for driving organizational change and cultural development.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide Human Resources (HR) support to a specified client group
  • Handle employee
    relations issues at all levels, by counseling employees, mediating, and
    resolving disputes between employees
  • Execute HR programs, aligning HR strategies with business strategies,
    streamlining and standardizing HR policies, practices and processes
  • Lead efforts supporting hourly employee recruiting
  • Assist in various
    Oracle and data management projects including; headcount tracking and analysis
    of staffing activities in support of Affirmative Action Plans
  • Actively engage in Strategic Workforce Planning strategy
  • Address employee pay
    and benefit questions
  • Participate in
    GE-wide, business, and local team driving Human Resource (HR) initiatives
  • Assist in conducting
    interviews, accelerating cycle time, and driving recruiting efforts
  • Conduct investigations into alleged violations of code of conduct and ethics program
  • Enable EEO and driving diversity initiatives
  • Produce reports on key HR metrics and lead onsite orientation
    and facilitate assimilation of new employees


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Human Resources)
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Employee Human Resource Management
