Role Summary: Our Manufacturing Enginneering Team at Salzbergen is looking for an intern (m/f) in the field of AME NPI as soon as possible. As our intern (m/f) you will support new processes and methods in a fast growing international environment. You will work together with the teams all over the world supporting them in the field of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and New Product Introduction.
Work in concurrent engineering environment during NPI phase on a specific portion of the new turbines
Apply LEAN methods in the design phase to ensure an efficient production process to optimize use of labour and equipment
Partnering with engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics and installation to develop innovative design features or methods to support this goal
Analyse the new designs and assess the impact to current production processes
Support in the development new process and methods for the new product and create new tooling/fixtures lists
Conduct PFMEA to identify areas for focus in the process/methods
Support in the development of new process layout and assess the impact to the current workstations in the factory
Support AME NPI Leader in building and setting the standards for the products
Bachelor's or Master's studies in the field Engineering in Production and Automatization or comaparable
Out of the box mindset
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Experience in LEAN manufacturing
Strong PC skills, including MS Office (Excel, Power Point), MS Project
Experience with CAD and use of 3D Models
Fluent in German and good English skills (oral and written)
Good interpersonal & relationship building skills
Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, constantly evolving, participative environment
Flexible attitude, willing to take on additional responsibilities
