Role Summary: Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) accelerates development of entry-level talent and produces leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (inclusive of manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics) and Health, Safety and Environment functions at BHGE. OMLP is a 2 year program consisting of 3 eight-month rotations that allow members to build leadership and functional skills through challenging rotational assignments and world-class training.
The experience gained during the rotational assignments positions OMLP members for accelerated career growth.
Participating in rotational assignments in Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Quality providing the opportunity to learn the entire supply chain, state of-the-art methods of manufacturing, sourcing, and to be exposed to environment, health, and safety technical and business aspects within a business through structured course work and practical application
Completing coursework in Supply Chain Management, LEAN Manufacturing Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, Project Management, Negotiation Skills and Business Acumen
Focusing on process integration, from design through manufacturing, to meet customers' expectations
Working with cross-functional teams such as quality, manufacturing, engineering, finance etc. on process improvements.
Conducting efficiency checks to identify quality and process issues
Working collaboratively with strong communication and interpersonal skills
In addition to fluency in English (assessment of your English proficiency may be part of the selection process) and the legal right to work in the country in which you have applied without company sponsorship or time restriction, you will need:
A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering, Applied Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology Engineering completed within the last 24 months. A minimum GPA average of 3.0/4.0
Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in engineering or manufacturing
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Proven analytical and organizational ability
