Role Summary:
The Environmental Health and Safety department fosters a culture that promotes the safety and wellness of our employees; protects the environment; ensures compliance; delivers value to our business, customers and communities; enhances GE’s reputation and distinguishes us as a socially responsible company.

Essential Responsibilities:
This internship involves assisting the EHS Department in all aspects of the global environmental, health and safety management. This will include, but is not limited to the following:
  • Preparing for EHS Management system audits
  • Reviewing, updating and posting various EHS programs, policies and training materials
  • Managing projects as assigned by the EHS Leader, such as digitalization initiatives, risk assessment, cost reduction, ECO inventory, global waste mapping and various others
  • Perform routine data / trend analysis, research, and presentations related to EHS performance
  • Complete assigned EHS tasks and other administrative duties, including special internship projects and presentations
  • Assisting management in accident investigations to determine root causes and the implementation of corrective actions


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • University degree (minimum 3 years) in Environmental Health & Safety
  • English spoken and written at professional level
