Role Summary:
The Global Product Leader, CARESCAPE is responsible for the life-cycle management of the assigned product lines including product definitions, business case development, new product/solutions roadmaps and installed base programs that meet market needs and organizational goals. This role is a key member of the CARESCAPE product management team

Essential Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
Help establish the vision and strategic plan for the assigned product portfolio based on a deep understanding of the clinical areas and competitive product offerings.
•Build a sustainable competitive advantage for GE’s patient monitoring business and deliver on our promise of better outcomes for our customers.
•Work collaboratively, as part of the Carescape product team and with the broader organization (Marketing, Clinical, Usability, Engineering, Sourcing etc.), to define & execute products and solutions that meet customer needs, and are developed on time, within budget and deliver on quality & performance metrics.
•Engage customers & our commercial team globally, to help define outcomes goals & the product concepts to address them. Conduct experiments to validate product concepts & strategies with customers.
•Provide meaningful inputs to our multi-generation product plan.
•Be engaged in all phases of the new product introduction, starting with the detailed planning phase until the product is delivered.
•Contribute to defining the product/solution clinical & usability features/specifications/ use cases. Write product requirements documents.
•Collaborate with Global Product Marketing to identify target market(s) for Product Models and Offerings. Define Product Models & Structures. Identify Offerings Items & Structures.
•In partnership with the Global Product Manager, build competitive cost model based on market information & supply chain costs.
•Assist with pricing, business models & clinical evidence generation models/plans in conjunction with Global Product Marketing and Medical & Clinical Affairs.
•Contribute to defining & achieving measurable business objectives through product solutions that meet both market needs and organizational goals.
•In partnership with the Global Product Manager, support new product introductions that increase our global market share & is accretive to our contribution margins
•Coordinate product testing & acceptance at initial sites. Maintain release schedules & ensure regional regulatory requirements are met. Ensure product availability. Engage key Opinion

Leaders.
•Support the product/solution ‘success in the market throughout its life-cycle. Monitor its profitability, growth rates, adoption rate, and determine opportunities for features/ functionality enhancements in future versions.
•Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements & the commercial processes.
•Team up with the Global Product Manager to develop & motivate others on strategies and operating mechanisms to deliver business results.

Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Science, Business Administration or other related field
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, product management, product development, or related field
•Team oriented and inclusive: ability to work well with diverse, global and cross-functional teams
•Demonstrated oral and written communications skills
•Strong analytical and process skills
•Demonstrated project management skills
•Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
•Ability to travel independently up to 20% of the time (both domestic and international)
•Willingness to consistently work flexible hours to accommodate needs of global customers and colleagues
•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time
•Must be willing to work in our Milwaukee, WI facility full-time
•Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process
•Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background
•Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:
•MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
•5+ years of experience in marketing, product management or related field
•Demonstrated product management or marketing expertise in market and customer insights, product commercialization, branding, new product introduction process, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management, and pricing.
•International experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
•Leadership skills: engages others to deliver results
•Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional team members as well as business leadership, and drive market-based decision making
•Healthcare industry & information technology acumen
•Previous experience managing a global brand
•Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
•Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with competing business

priorities. Responsive and willing to take ownership of issues and drive solutions
•Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing, and quality of outcomes
