Role Summary: Medical Imaging Platforms develops common software foundation/platform for all diagnostic imaging modalities, This team is looking for a highly motivated & talented individual with experience of working as a Systems & DevOps Engineer, having a working knowledge on Open Source software & tools with familiarity of Open Stack. This key role in platforms team will work in a fast-paced agile environment & contribute to all SDLC phases from concept, design, test to production support.
Essential Responsibilities: In this role, you will:
• Be a part of Systems/DevOps team in Imaging Platforms. working on setup and maintenance of complete test, pre-production & production infrastructure based on Open Stack. • Automate the process of setting up, enhancing and updating the infrastructure, integrating this to continuous integration process & support actively into continuous delivery. • Own, support & assist the development teams on the integration of various software services & build/releases into their target infrastructure. • Demonstrate authority in developing and executing automated builds and scripts. • Be able to independently evaluate problems, research for alternative approaches, work with partners and be able to recommend and implement solutions. • Train & assist the teams in diagnosing bugs debugging end-to-end and formulate solutions providing right level of systems expertise to the software developers. • Actively contribute to the immediate team or other teams (across Imaging Business) to implement end to end solutions for software integration and delivery. • Own, lead and improve software deployment process, focusing on scale and efficiency and driving consistent environments across multiple configurations. • Work closely with Architect Office in driving technology initiatives such as bringing state of art technologies, standards and processes to ensure efficient & quality delivery. • Use industry standard methodologies to improve Build, Release and Continuous integration processes. • Present to senior leadership in specific Software system integration/DevOps plans and to cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall integration strategy. • Support in development and enhancing of the build/test infrastructure and continuous integration/deployment framework used across imaging teams.
Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications: • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Build/Test Automation or Cloud or Open Stack Infrastructure setup • Strong Linux-based systems skills with practical experience operating in a cloud or virtualized environment. • Guide in Python and/or Java and scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby and/or Perl).Ansible a plus. • Hands on in Kernel, utilities, installation, package management • Hands on experience in building/automating sophisticated and highly automated infrastructures. • Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems • Continuous Integration and Deployment experience using a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services • Proficiency with log analysis using tools such as log parser and/or log stash. • Experience operating in a highly secure environment that conforms to various regulatory requirements and industry standard methodologies. • Excellent troubleshooting capabilities and an ability to quickly learn new technologies. • Contributes in driving initiatives such as defining standards and processes to ensure quality
