Role Summary:
This DevOps Architect will be responsible for leading the design and creating a highly efficient, metrics-driven, DevOps working model for New Generation Imaging Platforms. This role would be the responsible for all aspects of Continuous Delivery aspects of software developed by Medical Imaging Platform(MIP) teams.

Essential Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
• Architecting and crafting comprehensive solutions that meet the Continuous Delivery (CI/CT/CD/CM) requirements of Imaging platforms.
• Lead the solution architecture for Imaging DevOps platform working with DevOps architects and SMEs from Medical Imaging Modalities.
• Provide technical and process expertise for DevOps throughout the activity life cycle.
• Identify DevOps design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
• Define procedures, processes, standards, and requirements for teams to follow so that continuous delivery is streamlined and continuously improving.
• Providing build & release strategy for complex software platform to be able to generate parallel & concurrent releases for multiple partners across Imaging modalities.
• Provide mentorship to DevOps Engineers, project delivery and maintenance in the areas of IT automation, infrastructure and network monitoring, application performance monitoring.
• Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in software development, DevOps development, design and architecture
• A minimum of 3 years of technical DevOps design, CI/CD development
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java/JEE, Python, HTML, Javascript and application development as well as design
• Experience with developing and implementing DevOps Solutions; very strong scripting and automation skills
• Decent experience on System and Networking; Security Groups, VPC's, Subnets and VPN
• Great exposure and work experience with DevOps toolchain like: Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, etc.
• Configuration Management and Automation with different tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc.
• Experience with Monitoring tools such as ELK, Prometheus.
• Excellent communication skills.

Desired Characteristics:
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Demonstrated experience with Imaging device, web and edge/cloud technologies
• Knowledge of Platform as a Service (PaaS) and experience working with Virtual Private Networks, Storage Area Networks (SANs), Firewalls, Load Balancers, Security Protocols
• Knowledge of OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker
• Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to technical resources
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong desire to explore, evaluate and understand new technologies
