Role Summary: The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate activities & planning team that is responsible for developing & ensuring timely execution of production plans for operational areas in GEHC Bio-Sciences (China). The scope of the role covers material ‘call-off’ through to demand management related activities.
Essential Responsibilities: Co-ordinates internal and external interfaces & activities for the Shanghai plant (from material “call off” to demand management). Ensures the development and execution of production and / or component call off schedules. Ensures that preparation of finite schedules for the production departments reflect activities contained in Plant ‘Storyboard’. Co-ordinates the maintenance of plant inventories in line with agree targets. Co-ordinates the consolidation and issuance of departmental control mechanisms – KPIs. Co-ordinates execution of planning policies and objectives for the planning team. Participates in supply chain planning improvement initiatives. Contributes to and executes GEHC Bio-Sciences (China) improvement initiatives in planning. Is responsible for team development and personnel development (PACT) Ensures that the required level of cGMP, EHS, record keeping and discipline are maintained to ensure that plant operations remain in compliance.
Qualifications/Requirements: 3 years Logistics work experience in Pharmaceutical or related industry. APICs qualified or related discipline. (or undergoing same) Fluent in written and oral English.
