Role Summary: The Finish II – 2nd Shift is responsible for assisting machine shop, assembly & test and quality control to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Finish II – 2nd Shift, you will:
Be assigned to assist in any department, as required
Visually inspect rough and finished goods, stamp parts per router, Deburr parts, clean, polish, wash and sandblast parts. Move parts throughout the facility
Shift from task to task within any workday, as required
Do minor maintenance and cleanup, as required
Load parts into the ovens and Unload parts from the ovens in the Fabrication shop
Wear a respirator to perform sandblast operations
High School diploma /GED from an accredited school or institution
Minimum 1 year of Machine shop and/or oilfield experience
Work the 2nd Shift
Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
Lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
Machine shop Vo-Tech degree
Experience with all types of pneumatic grinders
Ability to read basic blueprints and determine metal finishes
