Role Summary: The Quality Technician I will be responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role, you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Quality Technician I you will:
Be responsible for visual inspection and measurement of product, material, and packaging to ensure no major defects are being shipped out to ensure no major defects are being shipped out
Ensure correct quantity and quality of material being shipped
Ensure all necessary documents are obtained and accurate and attached to outgoing shipment
Generate non-conformance reports for defective material
Able to drive a forklift to move and distribute product
High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience with a strong focus in quality
Prior experience in inspection processes for manufacturing industry with a strong focus in quality
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Familiarity with Internal Quality Auditing for ISO 9001:2000
Strong data collection and analysis skills
Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
