Role Summary:
The Quality Technician I will be responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role, you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Quality Technician I you will:

  • Be responsible for visual inspection and measurement of product, material, and packaging to ensure no major defects are being shipped out
    to ensure no major defects are being shipped out
  • Ensure correct quantity and quality of material being shipped
  • Ensure all necessary documents are obtained and accurate and attached to outgoing shipment
  • Generate non-conformance reports for defective material
  • Able to drive a forklift to move and distribute product

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience with a strong focus in quality

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Prior experience in inspection processes for manufacturing industry with a strong focus in quality
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with Internal Quality Auditing for ISO 9001:2000
  • Strong data collection and analysis skills
  • Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to measuring devices
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
