Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for an Assembly / Test Technician – 2nd Shift to support Artificial Lift in our Lowry Rd facility in Claremore, OK
Under direct supervision, set-up, monitor and operate testing equipment that holds to the high quality standards required within the organization.
Reads and interprets instructions, manuals, or specifications to determine correct testing variations of finished or semi-finished pieces.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance testing data, and adjusts machine controls as required.
May stand for long periods of time.
2nd Shift work schedule: 5pm-3:30am, Monday - Thursday
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of related experience
Ability to operate material moving equipment, overhead crane, and/or obtain certification.
Ability to read and interpret routine instructions such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to calculate and set controls to test factors such as pressure.
Good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools, cutting torch, air tools and precision measuring equipment.
Good communication skills, safety oriented and a team player.
Must be flexible and possess the ability to following work center guidelines.
Strong PC Skills
