Role Summary: Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures (technical Bachelor’s Degree).
Essential Responsibilities: Manage customer communication and run status calls Daily coordination and management of engines and modules through the shop providing regular status updates to customers Represent customers at daily CCC meeting and communicate status updates to customers Provide cost estimates for Time & Material customers by coordinating with Finance Team Ensure accuracy of documentation including shipping, invoicing, and finance systems Respond to customer queries and concerns in a timely manner Manage contract information in shop ERP system (OASIS) Create shop visits in ERP system (OASIS) Coordinate customer billing issues and resolution of queries Maintain shop visit scheduling and slot management Lead the annual business planning process and have strong input on SII and Op Plan Reviewing forecast load and capacity, working with business leader and technician teams to establish plans to ensure sufficient capacity is available to process the load Ensures performance enhancement and benchmarking for cost controls, alerting management on labor over run and working with site Lean Leader to make recommendations and implementing solutions Develop tools and methods to ensure all issues affecting progress of engines through the process are logged in the system. This will include both customer holds and internal process issues Drive accuracy regarding integrity of data in the system and ensuring the data flowing to corporate systems is accurate
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
