Experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Software Development Team, responsible for development of key GE Digital - Healthcare mobile business solutions. You will be responsible for driving the testing activities across our products, finding ways to decrease the number of manual tests in favor of the automated ones. You will be asked to bring and implement ideas how to shorten QA regression testing and how to provide fast and accurate feedback about build health to developers.
Lead the automation strategy, working with engineers to define, prioritize and oversee implementation.
Develops and executes maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
Drive the creation, maintenance and review of test cycles/plans/cases for all responsible features sets in the web/mobile domain.
Creating and maintaining automated tests for e2e scenarios, components integration and single components.
Maintain progress tracking in the form of Key Progress Indicators.
Ensure that all environments are configured and setup for testing.
Manage day-to-day testing efforts.
Participate in leading bug triage efforts with production and development teams.
Promoting and enforcing QA best practices across all team members.
Working with the leads of other teams and notifying of any changes or solutions that might affect their work flows.
Communicating to management with effective status updates on current initiatives
Provide mentorship to junior level engineers and help them grow to the next level.
Significant professional experience in QA Testing.
Extensive experience in test automation.
Experience working with and testing web/mobile based applications.
Strong ability to troubleshoot issues.
Experience in working in agile methodology
Ensures understanding of issues and presents clear rationale. Able to speak to mutual needs and win-win solutions. Uses two-way communication to influence outcomes and ongoing results.
Continuously measures deliverables of self and team against scheduled commitments. Effectively balances different, competing objectives.
