Role Summary:
Project Management/Planning/Coordinating activities typically in the context of a production or services project to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conducting all business activities according to GE's Code of Ethics
• Support relations between the Customer and GE Power O&M, and communication between Power Station management and GE Power O&M Contract management
• Ensure GE Power O & M is kept informed of any particular problems or suggestions for improvement, supporting GE Power O&M as a whole in finding solutions or making changes
• Provide direct technical guidance and support to the Customer’s staff on relevant operational and maintenance matters
• Support the customer to prepare and implement relevant operations procedures
• Analyze incident reports and suggest necessary actions
• Analyze and report monthly operational data relating to any contractual guarantees and obligations and, if necessary, recommend corrective actions
• Advise and assist the Customer in planning and executing relevant maintenance activities and co-ordinate with the Owner/Operator and GE Power O&M for the preparation and planning of planned and unplanned inspection activities
• Control initial spare parts and control GE Power O&M’s buffer stock and maintain the required stock availability, ensuring the timely availability of identified spare parts, consumables and tools for planned maintenance
• Help the customer in selecting tools and equipment required for maintenance
• During planned or unplanned inspections, co-ordinate between the Customer, GE and suppliers, and ensure that the Customer is aware of all modifications and related technical matters
• Ensure that suppliers of services comply with all applicable Environmental, Health & Safety requirements
• Assist in determining relevant training for Customer's staff and its subsequent implementation. Train and guide any GE Power O&M Power Station employees, and periodically assess their ability and potential
• Ensure financial control of the on-shore portion of the Contract budget, proposing then reporting against an annual budget
• Comply with all relevant customer as well as GE Power O&M and legislative EHS requirements relevant to assigned duties and responsibilities
• Manage support to and from other O&M Power Stations as well as O&M Product Center
• Participate in O&M experience exchange events


• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering MSc / BSc degree or equivalent knowledge & experience.
• Substantial knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes involved in the operation and maintenance of a Power Station
• Knowledge of the type of Power Station concerned
• Knowledge of typical legislation associated with Power Station operation and maintenance
