Role Summary:
This role supports the Life Sciences business by connecting with Marketing to develop and drive integrated, marketing communications strategies for region or product marketing programs, leveraging advertising, exhibits, collateral/sales tools production and digital communications platforms. This position will work across the marketing and shared services organization to leverage the business’ content marketing strategy and deliver marketing campaigns.



Essential Responsibilities:
This role coordinates with internal shared services as well as external resources to develop and execute content-rich campaigns that deliver on marketing objectives. This position evaluates program performance including a seamless and integrated program roll-out for defined geography in line with the Marketing Plan.



Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Develops strategic marketing communication, digital and content marketing plans
  • Identifies proper Expert and Shared Service resources to leverage and ensure teams are fully briefed and engaged to deliver on objectives
  • Manage campaign development, timelines and budgets
  • Ensures compliance of all Ad & Promo materials by managing the content approval process
  • Evaluates programs and reports their performance
  • Shares lessons learned across the team using established global processes
  • Responsible for media strategy development
  • Works with marketing leaders to establish Ad & Promo Budget
  • Liaises with Communications team globally
  • Continually evaluates processes and strategies to optimize the effectiveness of programs and tools designed for both the customer and sales force
  • Ensures consistency of approach and integration of best practices to help meet marketing objectives globally and in regions
  • Leverages new channels or techniques and identifies unique, attention getting strategies to meet program objectives

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality
    Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as
    required


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 5 plus years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, marketing communications or related field
  • Proven ability to motivate and work effectively with diverse, cross-functional global teams at multiple levels (including executive level) and outside vendors
  • Ability to influence, make recommendations and drive change at all levels of the company
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven track record of delivery to tight budgets and timelines
  • Strong analytical and process skills
  • Excellent knowledge of integrated communications strategy and the marketing mix (print, digital, events)
  • Experience with marketing automation, content management and CRM tools
  • Communication/campaign project management experience


Desired Characteristics:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing
  • 7+ years experience in marketing, advertising or a related field
