Role Summary: The Productivity Analyst Intern will be part of the TMS Services Productivity and Risk team. The ideal candidate will work on the CS Service productivity optimizing catalog/budgeting processes & methodologies as well as the cost execution. The candidate will also foster the cost management culture within the Service organization and the supporting Functions building a pipeline of programs that will drive stable multi-year productivity results.
Essential Responsibilities: The essential responsibilities of the Productivity Analyst Intern will be the following:
CMS Productivity initiatives:
Support productivity culture divulgation among CMS organization
Collaborate with Regions, COE's, Engineering and Product Leadership to develop productivity pipeline (through ideas generation events and ideas collection process) and prioritize investments
Support COEs in developing the Biz Case cost execution management
Ensure compliance with controllership policies
Partner with the COE's and the Regions to monitor execution and drive financial results
Provide visibility to operational teams on the progress of productivity actions and drive regional implementations, if applicable
Collaborate with COE's to translate output productivity targets into input targets
Partner with the Risk team to run sensitivity analysis on productivity actions
Collaborate with Engineering and Risk to assess possible TIL PDY impacts and identify mitigation actions and/or Productivity opportunities.
Financial Forecasting – Simplification:
Ensure with Finance and CMS Operations solid processes and tools and monitor productivity
BS Degree in Engineering or Finance from an accredited university or college
Strong knowledge of Project Management bases
Very Strong Excel and IT skills
Able to work with cross-functional teams
Positive personal traits would include initiative, pro-activeness, enthusiasm, passion and time management skills
