Role Summary: Mechanical Commissioning Engineer is responsible for ensuring mechanical completion of systems like flushing, pressure tests, cleaning and getting the systems ready for startup and commissioning of an Combined cycle Power Plant. He / she shall be also supporting controls commissioning team in startup and commissioning.
Essential Responsibilities: Inspection and witnessing installation of various mechanical systems in combined cycle power plant incl alignments, piping / hydro test prepare and review test package, flushing process for pipes and pipe conservation. Participates in regularly scheduled construction & Commissioning progress meetings. Review vendor drawings, calculations, start up Procedures and other vendor documentations. Investigates and resolves engineering and technical related problems. Support Controls Commissioning on field instrumentation & Drives.
Qualifications/Requirements: Degree in mechanical Engineering. Mechanical commissioning experience >5 years
Desired Characteristics: Strong team player with good communication skills. Mechanical commissioning experience >5 years and possessing strong process knowledge of Combined Cycle Power Plant.
