Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer – Power to work in the Electronics team of the Engineering department of the Cyclotron and TRACERcentre business.
You will be involved in developing switching power solutions with PFC’s for our cyclotrons. These switching units supply spectrometers, magnetic and RF systems, 2kV-10kV 600W-20KW.
This position will have responsibility for ongoing development in Power Electronics for the business as well as product maintenance and support for our service and production departments.
You will be part of a development team with a broad knowledge in physics and in a team of electronic engineers who work with everything from input power to the control electronics to our cyclotrons.
BS in Electrical Engineering
Several years engineering experience in power electronics
Excellent teamwork, coordination and collaboration skills
Strong communication skills both in English and Swedish, written and oral
Project Management experience
Desired Characteristics: In addition to power electronics, our team's main responsibilities include high power RF systems and verification systems, so interest and experience in these areas is of benefit.
Other desired characteristics / qualifications:
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Project manager qualifications
Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities
Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
