Role Summary: As Director - Quality Assurance Engineering, you will be responsible for building and leading one or more agile software quality teams with focus on new innovative software solutions
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) • A minimum of 12 years OR Master’s degree with 7 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering or Product Development with technical leadership • A minimum of 6 year’s experience managing Quality Engineering teams • Experience in the entire software product life cycle: Development, QA and Release management • Good oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated ability working in a fast pace software development environment & managing remote teams
• Legal authorization to work in the India is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills. • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen • Must be willing to travel • Must be willing to work out of an office located in Bangalore

• Able to work under minimal supervision • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity • Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility • Skilled in providing oversight and mentoring team members.
