Role Summary: The Monitoring Solutions team is seeking for a Lead Program Integrator with strong product engineering acumen. He / She will provide Leadership for the MS products and programs. The Lead Program Integrator leads a small to mid-sized cross-functional program team to deliver the technical content, program planning & execution of programs & Install base support.
Essential Responsibilities: The position drives clarity by defining and prioritizing the program objectives, critical success factors and deliverables for the team. Additionally, the role expected to handle IB engineering support activities. Lead Program Integrator motivates the team and drives a sense of urgency on meeting program commitments. As part of the Leadership Team, the he/she works with the Business Team and program leadership team to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with competitive features. Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Ensures that the product development process abides by all defined cross-functional standards, meets the intent and letter of Phased Review Discipline and all compliance and regulatory needs of the applicable markets • Leads the cross-functional Program Core Team to establish an integrated plan for resources and materials to deliver the new product program per the Product Program team dedication including Estimation, Planning & tracking of program activities. • Works closely & as part of Install base support activities delivering IB solutions for MS products. • Finds early and solves complex and ambiguous cross-functional integration problems leading the team to deliver per Program team commitments including (but not limited to) completing functional goals, execution adjustments/iterations, process confusion, and cross-functional teamwork. • Works with the system, subsystem/platform, supply chain, service, QA, RA, Manufacturing, Research project leaders to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with the necessary features/functionality • Driving effective communication across businesses and functions through all phases of program life cycle. Clearly communicate project status, issues, risks, plans, etc. to Leadership • Driving product planning, multi-generational product/platform roadmap execution and product quality initiatives. • Cross-functional project execution leadership including (but not limited to) concept discussion, program execution, clinical and pilot trials, and product field delivery • Leading the design team and design control process from system design and analysis, requirements development, design planning, risk analysis, integration and test, design transfer to manufacturing, field and customer support including corrective and preventative actions to ensure customer satisfaction • Manages all aspects of one or more medium to large and/or complex projects / achievements from initiation through closure, Develops, sells and implements comprehensive project plans, beginning with project team structure and resource assignment, and ending with a control plan identifying both business process metrics and IT platform quality requirements Quality Specific Goals: • Aware of and follow the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required • Drive compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Control FDRs and NPI program achievements • Identify continuous improvement activities by initiating the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives • Responsible for the validation of all GxP relevant applications and maintaining the validated state of those applications • Aware of and follow the change management work instruction • Develop an open quality culture within the organization that fosters issue discussion and decision-making based on quality and compliance objectives
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline • At least 8 years of relevant industry experience and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in program leadership including leading cross-functional teams in global environments • Experience in System definition, requirements management & product engineering activities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence at all levels in the organization • Thorough understanding & exposure to projects executed in agile methodologies. • Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication • Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule and budget CTQ’s • Demonstrated engineering knowledge, program management and business planning processes having experience with the full product lifecycle • Familiarity with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards • Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization. • Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver
Desired Characteristics: Demonstrated experience driving variable cost productivity (VCP) and Inventory Carrying Value (ICV) reduction to enable optimized product margins • Demonstrated broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design and technical depth in software design and implementation. Good hands on experience on embedded SW development, communication protocols. • Certifications & experience in six sigma processes / PMP • Shown mentoring and coaching abilities, motivate & inspire others, Ability to maintain high moral, employee involvement, safety and teamwork • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in an ambiguous environment & capability to handle multiple activities on day-to-basis • Network product knowledge. • Shown leadership skills (experience successfully leading people/projects/issues) • Change agent with energy, passion & enthusiasm to drive change • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, teamwork & networking skills • Strategic planner and thinker with ability to drive change across the segment products • Demonstrated experience on global product releases throughout the entire NPI cycle • Excellent knowledge in engineering, program management and business planning processes having experience with the full product lifecycle • Demonstrated LEAN skills
