Role Summary:

The Senior Digital Integration - Portfolio’s primary responsibility is assessing the BHGE Digital Portfolio, and ensure an effective integration of legacy BHI and legacy GE software products. You will partner with the senior leaders in Product Development, Product Management and Marketing to define how to bring together the software product portfolios, rationalize the products, and review current resources and alignment.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • You will be responsible for managing and monitoring key metrics to ensure milestones are met, defining and executing programs, and working with product teams to set short-term and long-term strategy.
  • Assess digital portfolios and strategies across legacy GE and legacy BHI
  • Work cross functionally with product management, product development, marketing, and management teams to formulate the strategy for integrating and aligning portfolios.
  • Define the integration plan for products, identifying where to combine, grow, maintain, or stop. Specific focus around software for reservoir modeling, artificial lift/production optimization, and other oil field services software.
  • Review current portfolio management and resource allocation for legacy GE and legacy BHI, and develop plan to integrate processes.
  • Become a domain/business expert for the integrated portfolio to guide and mentor teams, and establish plan to integration the portfolios.
  • Increase the effectiveness and efficiency as well as coordination and communication between groups.
  • Lead cross-discipline teams to establish an integrated plan to deliver team commitments.
  • Establish governance structure that identifies key performance indicators, sets milestones, and establishes a reporting cadence.
  • Ensures ongoing communication of progress against program objectives.
  • Global travel required as necessary.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience along with established leadership across the discipline and function
  • GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed

    Eligibility Requirements: (Country Specific)

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
  • Must be willing to travel 20-30%
  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in Houston, TX

    Desired Characteristics:

    Technical Expertise:

  • Experience with enterprise wide or oil & gas industry software
  • Experience and understanding of software development and cloud development lifecycle
  • Experience with software portfolio/product management and software development
  • Ability to proactively drive portfolio and investment decision to balance customer needs, install base requirements (refresh) and long-term enterprise differentiation.
  • Ability to evangelize concepts beyond current offerings and considers business model innovation (product, service and delivery innovations
  • Ability to assess goals, feature sets, capabilities against business objectives for a product (i.e. Profitability, ROI, Market Penetration, Channel development, Brand Development, etc.)
  • Experience with integrations, acquisitions or mergers
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in excel, word, outlook, and access
  • Experience using Confluence, Rally, or AHA a plus

  • Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics
