Role Summary: Perform functions to coordinate, and direct all activities relating to the successful presentation of proposals and technical documents to support business development.
Essential Responsibilities: ・ Work to all required Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Policies. ・ Work to all required Compliance and Export Controls regulations. ・ Create and assemble customer proposals. ・ Participate in the planning and strategic decisions conducted in the business development process. ・Coordinate efforts of the Product Platform, Quality, Sales, Legal, Engineering, EHS, Materials. Management, and Manufacturing in responding to customer inquiries. ・Conduct meetings, record minutes, assign actions, maintain records, and develop proposal files for new business opportunities. ・ Advise and assist in the preparation and execution of customer presentations. ・ Analyze customer technical requirements and collaborate with Application/Product Engineering to determine design. ・Ensure proposal documents meet customer requirements where possible and clearly note where exceptions are taken. ・Initiate and support process improvement to stream-line proposal cycle-time, enhance corporate branding, and/or improve customer presentations. ・Initiate and maintain technical glossary of common equipment descriptions, technical attributes, drawings, procedures, user information, etc. ・Adhere to corporate and departmental Risk Review Guidelines. Highlight and communicate risk areas outside of company standards. ・AutoCAD equipment assembly layouts (training provided upon hire).
Qualifications/Requirements: ・Bachelor degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, or minimum of 2 years of industry work experience. ・Strong written and verbal skills. ・Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. ・High proficiency level in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). ・Willingness and ability to work overtime when required. ・Ability to travel domestically and internationally as your supervisor deems necessary.
Desired Characteristics: ・Minimum of 1 year commercial experience in a manufacturing environment. ・Upstream oil & gas experience. ・Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. ・Six Sigma certification or equivalent. ・Experienced in basic AutoCAD (Training provided as required). ・Experience with Oracle and/or SyteLine ERP systems. ・Strong product and function knowledge of wellhead and gate valve equipment.
